First Lady Melania Trump alongside President Trump welcomed Ecuadorian President Lenín Moreno and his wife, Rocio Gonzalez to the White House Wednesday afternoon.
Stylishly greeting Ecuador’s first couple in a spring ensemble, Melania wore a green mint wool coat slung over her shoulders which was paired with a high-neck white sweater and a standout python midi skirt by Salvatore Ferragamo.
Hailing from the label’s Spring/Summer 2018 Ready-To-Wear Collection, the midi skirt is is crafted from python leather and features a high waist and pencil silhouette. This midi skirt was modified to the First Lady preference, as she removed the blush-hued satin lining. It retailed $7,700, but unfortunately it is sold out.
She completed her look with a pair of dusty pink velvet pumps from Manolo Blahnik.

Every woman needs a python print skirt in their closet. Check out below for the perfect python print alternative to emulate Melania’s look.

Ecuadorian First Lady Rocio Gonzalez was also stylish for the visit, donning a bold black and red chevron design skirt. She teamed the skirt with a black blazer that was accessorized with a chunky gold brooch on the lapel. To complete the look, Rocio wore black suede pumps.
During the meeting in the Oval Office, both First Ladies were on hand as their husbands discussed a wide range of topics. This is the first visit to the White House by an Ecuadorian President in almost two decades. Exactly 17 years ago today, on February 12th, 2003, then-President Lucio Gutierrez met in the Oval Office with President George W. Bush. Under Moreno leadership, relationship between the United States and Ecuador has been rekindled.

“It’s great to be with the President of Ecuador, it’s one of the most beautiful countries in the world, ” President Trump said before the bilateral meeting. “We are working on trade deals, we’re working on military options, including the purchase of a lot of our military equipment. We do make the best equipment in the world, by far. And we’re negotiating some very important pacts between Ecuador and the United States.”
Both leaders were expected to discuss ways to improve access to commercial markers, promote investments in Ecuador and work together on combating issues like drug trafficking, money laundering, and corruption.
The Ecuadorian president is also joining 60 other nations, along with the United States in backing the Venezuelan opposition leader, Juan Guaido, to help oust the current president of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro. Ecuador receives over $70 million from the United States to assist with the influx of Venezuelans migrants leaving Venezuela under Maduro leadership. Currently there are half a million Venezuelans living in Ecuador.

After the bilateral 2:2 meeting, both Melania and Rocio left their husbands and had lunch together in the parlor of the White House.
