First Lady Melania Trump unveiled the White House Christmas decorations Monday morning.
In a Twitter video posted on @FLOTUS account, Melania is seen wearing a custom off-white midi bodycon dress by her stylist, Herve Pierre. Draped over the bodycon dress was a matching wool coat from S Max Mara. The Dora coat is made from a lush blend of wool and angora that features a longline design, softly pointed collar, side slit pockets, and cuffed sleeves. It retailed for $1,790, and is currently on sale for $1,253 at MyTheresa.com.
As for footwear, Melania was seen wearing White Python So Kate pointed-toe Stiletto from Christian Louboutin. These limited edition pair is unfortunately sold out in stores.

The theme for this year’s White House Christmas decorations is “The Spirit of America,” a theme the White House says is “a tribute to the traditions, customs, and history that make our Nation great.”
Video posted on Twitter shows the first lady walking through the White House showing the decorations.
“The Spirit of America” is shining in the @WhiteHouse! I am delighted to share this beautiful exhibit of patriotism for all to see, and excited for everyone to experience the beauty of the #Christmas season! pic.twitter.com/qGxxl9qBrd

The East Wing features the Gold Star Family Tree, adorned with golden stars and patriotic ribbons in honor of those who lost an immediate family member serving in the armed forces. The Green Room displays “classic Christmas tales” along with the White House Advent calendar.

According to the White House statement, the State Dining Room, “celebrates America the beautiful,” with a gingerbread rendition of the South Portico of the White House and landmarks from across the country, including the Statue of Liberty, the Golden Gate Bridge, Space Needle, Mount Rushmore, the Alamo, the Gateway Arch and the Liberty Bell.
“When I travel the country, I am inspired by the hard working people and families that I meet,” Melania said in a statement. “No matter which state they call home, many Americans share a strong set of values and deep appreciation for the traditions and history of our great nation. Thank you to all of the staff and volunteers who worked to make sure the People’s House was ready for Christmas.”

The official White House Christmas tree, towering more than 18 feet tall, is decorated with handmade paper flowers representing the floral emblems of each state and territory. A close-up of one of the trees, shown in the video, reveals an ornament with the words “Be Best” spelled out in Scrabble tiles.

The decorations include more than 15,000 bows, 200 pounds of gingerbread, and 58 Christmas trees.
The White House says that during the month of December they are by hosting open houses, receptions, and tours for guests to enjoy the decorations.

While this wool coat is available to purchase, below are similar grey coats and white bodycon midi dress one can purchase to mimic the First Lady’s look this Holiday Season!

December 3, 2019I thought the White House was wonderful last year but I think our Fist Lady has outdone herself this year. My jaw dropped as I looked t the pictures. Absolutely fabulous! What a great representative for the USA. Talented, well spoken, multi-lingual, intelligent, more adjectives would take the whole space. Absolutely proud of this family and what they have done for our county despite all the negative working against them. God Bless them all.
