What Melania Wore Touring Egypt

First Lady Melania Trump ended her five-day Africa solo tour in Egypt. During her tour that included a stop at the Pyramids and Sphinx, Melania was seen dressed in neutral menswear-inspired ensemble that consisted of a tan linen Ralph Lauren blazer draped over her silk Chanel blouse and a cream wide-leg Valentino pants. She finished off this glamorous look with Chanel’s classic lambskin flats, a black necktie and a fedora-style hat.

While in Egypt, Melania received a warm welcome from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and his wife, Entissar, at the presidential palace in Cairo before she headed to visit the Pyramids and the Great Sphinx.

The aim of Melania’s trip to Africa was to spread the campaign message of her “Be Best” initiative. Be Best, Melania first campaign initiative is to promote the social, emotional, and physical health of children.

“Whether it is education, drug addiction, hunger, online safety or bullying, poverty or disease, it is too often children who are hit first, and hardest, across the globe,” Melania said, according to AP. “Each of us hails from a country with its own unique challenges, but I know in my heart we are united by our commitment to raising the next generation to be happy, healthy and morally responsible adults.”
