What Melania Wore to the 2019 White House Easter Egg Roll

Hosting the 141st annual Easter Egg Roll at the White House’s South Lawn Monday, First Lady Melania Trump looked spring-ready in a stylish light blue trench dress. 

The long-sleeve light blue trench coat dress from Michael Kors features golden front buttons and chest flap pockets. The stylish number is a heavy suede midi dress that cinched in at the waist and also had two slip pockets on the hips.

From the Spring 2019 Ready to Wear collection, the dress is available to buy now at Neiman Marcus and retails for $4995. The look is similar to the outfit she wore last year Easter egg hunt, a Robin egg blue belted coat with oversized black buttons from Burberry.

Melania paired the trench suede dress with a pair of nude Christian Louboutin ‘Eloise’ flats. The red bottom flats that features a pointed toe that retails currently for $595.

Over 30,000 guest were in attendance for the annual event that dates back to 1878.

The first couple partook in the traditional events of the Easter Egg Roll — the egg race and a post card station for kids to make greeting cards to send to U.S. troops overseas. 

Two new events were added to the lineup of festivities, including a musical eggs, a game of musical chairs and a game of hopscotch, both called “Be Best,” named after her signature initiative. Melania also read to the kids “The Wonderful Things You Will Be” by Emily Winfield Martin, a book about the importance of kindness.
