Channeling Hollywood glam!
Heading to Georgia with her husband, President Donald Trump, to address the RX Drug Abuse & Heroin Summit, Melania looked Hollywood chic wearing a white and black polka dot dress by Alessandra Rich.

The silk dress featured an asymmetric hem with a high neck and ruffled side panel. It is available for purchase in a long sleeve style, so it seems that Melania must have had this dress custom made to be sleeveless. It retails for $2,300 on FarFetch.
Taking inspiration from the 50s, Melania paired the classic dress with a chunky brown snakeskin belt. While heading to Marine One in Washington, Melania draped a cream midi length coat. She completed the look with brown patent leather pumps.

Melania is the only First Lady to participate in the Summit. She introduced the President and mentioned her BE BEST initiative, that focuses on major issues facing children today. One of the three pillars of the initiative is opioid abuse.

In her brief speech, Melania spoke about her role as First Lady in battling drug abuse crisis in the U.S and working to bring awareness on the “dangers of opioids to unborn babies.”
“In my role as first lady, much of my focus has been addressing the terrible toll the opioid epidemic is having on our children and young mothers,” Melania said. “We will continue to raise awareness of the dangers of opioids to unborn babies. We are also committed to supporting more treatment facilities that help both mothers and babies recover and replace the bond of addiction with the bond of love between a mother and her child.”
Founded in 2012, the Rx Drug Abuse & Heroin Summit is now the largest national gathering of professionals from “federal to family:” local, state and, federal agencies, public health officials, business executives, academia, treatment providers, advocates, law enforcement, and family members working to find solutions that address the prescription drug abuse and misuse epidemic. The meeting is produced by HMP, a leader in healthcare events and education.
