First Lady Melania Trump accompanied President Trump to Nashville, Tennessee for his second and final presidential debate of the 2020 election, watching her husband dominate over his Democratic opponent on many issues during the 90-minute showdown.
For the final debate, Melania donned a sophisticated black sleeveless midi dress from Christian Dior. From the Spring 2019 Ready-To-Wear collection, the dress features a sleeveless design, classic collared neckline with a double-breasted design, and a midi-length hemline. It is unknown the price for the tailored flock as it is currently unavailable for purchase.
Melania accessorize her dress with a black thin leather belt that accentuated the waistline. As for footwear, Melania went with one of her favorite, teaming it with a pair of black patent leather pumps from Christian Louboutin. The So Kate pointed toe pump retails for $695 and is available for purchase at Nordstorm.com.
While this simple yet sophisticated Dior dress is unavailable for purchase, below are similar sleeveless black midi dresses that are just as stunning as some of the lookalikes from Calvin Klein.
The debate in Nashville is Melania’s first public outing since testing positive for the coronavirus. The First Lady was supposed to return to the campaign trail on Tuesday, joining the president in his Make America Great Again rally in Erie, Pennsylvania. Tuesday’s appearance was poised to be Melania’s first campaign rally event in more than a year. The last Trump rally Melania appeared happened 16 months ago when Trump officially launched his re-election bid in a kick-off rally in Orlando, Fl back in June of 2019.
However, just hours before the rally, Melania canceled out of an “abundance of caution” and a “lingering cough” since recovering from the coronavirus.
“Mrs. Trump continues to feel better every day following her recovery from Covid-19, but with a lingering cough, and out of an abundance of caution, she will not be traveling today,” First Lady’s Chief of Staff Stephanie Grisham told reporters Tuesday.
Once landing in Nashville, both Melania and President Trump were welcomed by over 150 Tennessee Air National Guard members standing in formation at the tarmac.
Ahead of the debate, Trump attended a fundraiser that also featured Senior Advisor Ivanka Trump at JW Marriott Hotel in Downtown Nashville. Kid Rock and Lee Greenwood were among the guests that attended the fundraiser.
For the first debate late last September, Melania opted for a stylish pinstripe pantsuit by Dolce & Gabbana. She paired the pantsuit with midnight navy blue suede Christian Louboutin.2020 Presidential DebateChristian DiorFashionMelania TrumpPolitical FashionPresident Trump
