First Lady Melania Trump joined her husband, President Trump Saturday evening to host a special 2020 ”Salute to America” Independence Day event from the White House South Lawn.
For her second Fourth of July fashion outfit, Melania wore a plain white sleeveless tea-length dress with a round neckline. It is unknown at the moment the exact brand the white dress hails from.
What made Melania outfit stand out was the choice of accessories she teamed with the white dress — the red belt. The scalloped laser-cut red leather belt from Azzedine Alaia is a vintage classic piece. Seen from the designer’s Spring 1992 Ready-to-Wear collection, the 1992 red corset belt features laser-cut, corded bands and three belt buckles for a flattering cinched waist. It retailed for $985, but unfortunately it is sold out.
She completed her look with a pair of white flats from Christian Louboutin. The White Christian Louboutin Ballalla point-toe leather flats retailed for $575 but it is also sadly sold out.

Since Melania’s vintage belt and white flats are sold out, below are affordable alternatives one needs to elevate any wardrobe.

For the celebration, President Trump invited guests that include health care workers, military, law enforcement, and their families. According to deputy White House press secretary Judd Deere, this year’s event was a tribute to the “tremendous courage and spirit” of front-line workers and the public in the coronavirus pandemic. The invited guests were seated at on the South Portico of White House in circular tables decorated in white table cloths and flowers.
Interior Secretary David Bernhardt said the July Fourth celebrations included a mile-long firing of 10,000 fireworks that he called “the largest in recent memory.”

Last year, Melania marked July 4 with a celebration at the Lincoln Memorial wearing an off-the-shoulder white striped flared dress from Carolina Herrera teamed with a pair of pink Christian Louboutin’ So Kate pumps.
This year, Melania celebrated Independence Days with back to back events. On Friday, Melania accompanied President Trump to Mount Rushmore to headline a Fourth of July event where she wore a white sleeveless midi-dress decorated with a ‘Dancing Girls’ print from Alexander McQueen. She completed her look by teaming the infamous dress with a skinny black belt clinched on the waistline and glossy black patent red-soled pumps from Christian Louboutin.

The First Lady shared pictures on her Twitter account to reflect on the two great evenings celebrating the Fourth of July.
“Wonderful evening at the majestic #MountRushmore celebrating the spirit of America’s Independence & witnessing a beautiful display of fireworks. Let’s reflect on the ideals that make this country great & always remember the blessings of freedom & liberty,” Melania tweeted in one tweet.
“It was a beautiful evening at the @WhiteHouse celebrating #IndependenceDay,” Melania tweeted the following day.

July 8, 2020I wish Melania would shorten her dress style, she wears all her dresses to long. Seems like a shorter dress/skirt to about her knees would better fit her body contour.
