Continuing the third day of their state visit to Japan, the Trumps visited the Imperial Palace and enjoyed a welcome ceremony as they met Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako. This visit to Japan is a historic one, marking the first time a world leader has met with the country’s new emperor.

For this occasion, First Lady Melania Trump was seen wearing an elegant white floral embroidered dress from Carolina Herrera. The short-sleeve floral midi dress featured a round neckline, and a flared style with a keyhole detail on the skirt of the dress. It retailed for $4,290, but it currently on sale for $2,145 at Farfetch.com.

To complete the look, Melania paired the floral embroidered dress with Fuchsia suede pumps by Manolo Blahnik. The ‘BB’ Pointy Toe pump retails for $625, but it is on sale at Nordstrom for $375.

After the welcoming ceremony, Melania alongside Akie Abe headed to a cultural program and met with the founder and members of the organization Shine On! Kids, a non-profit organization that supports sick children with activities with facility dogs who are trained to encourage children in hospitals. The political wives gathered at the annex for a Japanese bamboo flute performance, known as Shakuhachi, by master flutist Yosuke Irie, followed by a traditional fan dance and a dance performance by two young Japanese girls.
