First Lady Melania Trump alongside husband, President Trump were spotted departing the White House Friday afternoon, to spend the weekend in Palm Beach for the SuperBowl.
For the departure, Melania was seen wearing a camel cape from Chloe. From the pre-fall 2019 collection, the high-neck cape coat is made from cozy wool-blend. It features contrasting panels on the sleeves with a striped trim that highlights the asymmetric hem on the bottom of the high zip-up neck cape coat. It retailed for $2,595 and is available only at Cettire for $1,872.
Melania paired the camel cape with black leggings and black suede boots.
If you love the camel-colored cape, but don’t want to spend the big bucks, compiled below is a roundup of lookalikes to emulate the First Lady divine style.
On the plane, Melania changed her outfit, as seen in pictures and wore a pleated floral-print silk midi dress from Gucci. Melania first wore this dress in November 2018 for the G20 Summit in Buenos Aires. From the Fall 2018 collection, the Gucci dress features bold colors of blossoming buds and fluttering creatures. Made from crisp silk, the dress is complete with a bold green stripe at the hem. It retails for $4,900 with only a few size available at Net-a-porter.com.
Melania completed her dress look with a pair of fuchsia suede Christian Louboutin pumps.
Both Melania and President Trump were boarding Air Force One as the Senate voted to reject a Democratic call to hear from witnesses at Trump’s impeachment trial.
The trip also comes just hours after a Connecticut opera singer was arrested during a security breach at Mar-A-Lago Friday morning. The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office said that Hannah Roemhild was taken into custody following the incident which occurred at about 11.40am and involved the Secret Service. According to Reuters, Roemhild was then taken into custody and is expected to face charges of assault on a federal officer, deadly assault on a sheriff’s deputy and various traffic charges for driving her car through the checkpoints.
The Trumps will spend SuperBowl Sunday viewing the Florida Atlantic University Marching Band in West Palm Beach, following by a Super Bowl LIV watch party at Trump golf club.
