Dazzling in 2020!
First Lady Melania Trump along with President Donald Trump and the whole first family hosted a New Year’s Eve celebration Tuesday night at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach.
Ringing in the New Year, Melania donned a sultry black sequin embroidered evening dress by Givenchy. From the F/W19 Collection, the long sleeveless gown is comprised of pure lightweight soft silk georgette that falls to a floor-sweeping length. It features a round neck decorated with gold sequins embroidery around the neckline down to the chest that form a descending gradient effect. It retailed for $4,740 and is currently on sale for $2,844 at Farfetch.com.
To complete this glamorous look, Melania wore a pair of black Christian Louboutin pumps.

Before heading inside to the party, President Trump spoke to reporters and answered questions for roughly ten minutes on pressing topics such as Iran, North Korea and the supposedly upcoming impeachment trial.
“Happy New Year. We’re going to have a great year, I predict. I think it’s going to be a fantastic year,” Trump said before telling reporters to “stay honorable” in their reporting. “If you are honorable, I’m going to win the election by a lot. If you’re not honorable, I’m just going to win the election by a little. So I’d rather have you be honorable, okay?”
When asked if he foresee a war with Iran, Trump responded, “I don’t think that would be a good idea for Iran. It wouldn’t last very long. Do I want to? No. I want to have peace. I like peace. And Iran should want peace more than anybody. So I don’t see that happening. No, I don’t think Iran would want that to happen.”
When asked about relationship with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, the president said they have a “very good relationship” and he thinks Kim is “a man of his word.”
“I have a very good relationship with Kim Jong Un,” Trump said. “We get along. He’s representing his country. I’m representing my country. But he did sign a contract. He did sign an agreement, talking about denuclearization. And that was signed. Number-one sentence: denuclearization. That was done in Singapore. And I think he’s a man of his word. So we’re going to find out.”
Regarding the impeachment trial that is currently tied by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who currently hasn’t sent over the Articles of Impeachment to the Senate, Trump had a few last 2019 words.
“Well, the impeachment thing is a hoax. It’s a big, fat hoax,” Trump said. “What the Democrats did in the House was a disgrace. So I think the impeachment thing — I call it ‘impeachment light.; It’s a disgrace. And Nancy Pelosi should be ashamed of herself. She’s a highly overrated person.”
Trump added he doesn’t mind having a trial in the senate.
“I don’t really care. It doesn’t matter,” the president said. “As far as I’m concerned, I’d be very happy with the trial because we did nothing wrong. Adam Schiff is a corrupt politician. He’s corrupt. He got up — he made a speech, said something I never said.”
Melania was asked about her New Years resolution, in which she replied, “Peace on the world.” Trump added on saying he doesn’t want to say his resolution out loud because he doesn’t want to “jinx it.”
