Celebrating International Women’s Day, First Lady Melania Trump took part at the State Department 2019 Annual International Women of Courage Award ceremony.
For this ceremony, Melania wore a green leather coat by ALEXACHUNG. The leather trench coat featured a double breasted buttons with a retro-inspired ring belt. It retails for $1585 at Net-A-Porter but it is currently sold out.

To complete this look, Melania paired the green trench coat with her go-to pumps, Christian Louboutin in a sleek brown suede So Kate. These timeless pointy-toe stiletto retails for $725 on the Christian Louboutin site.
Melania joined Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for the awards ceremony that honored 10 women from around the world for their humanitarian work.
The women come from from Bangladesh, Djibouti, Egypt, Ireland, Jordan, Montenegro, Myanmar, Peru, Sri Lanka and Tanzania.
“I believe courage is one of the qualities we need most in society,” Melania said. “Courage is what divides those who only talk about change from those who actually act to change. Courage takes sacrifice, bravery, and humility—it is the ability to put others first.”
Since 2007, the State Department has recognized more than 120 women from more than 65 different countries “who have demonstrated exceptional courage and leadership.”
She called the 10 women “role models to the next generation.”
“The women we are honoring today are symbols of courage,” Melania said as she presented the awards. “They are human-rights advocates in some of the most dangerous of parts of our world. These courageous women nurture and serve the lives of the vulnerable and forgotten within their communities.”

After the event, she joined her husband, President Donald Trump to greet the Czech Republic Prime Minister, Andrej Babiš, and his wife, Monika Babišová, at the White House.

Czech Republic PM wife Monika was seen wearing a glamorous lavender patterned coat with detailed pink fur-trimmed from Fendi. Underneath her Fendi coat, Monika wore a white long cut-out sleeve dress by Victoria Beckham.
