A fashion home run!
Melania Trump stole the spotlight from Medal of Freedom recipient Mariano Rivera when she arrived at the Yankee legend’s ceremony in the East Room of the White House wearing an incredibly stylish white suit.
Wearing a custom made white Dior pantsuit for the occasion, having previously worn the gorgeous chic ensemble at the State of the Union in 2018. During the first time she wore the ensemble by the French fashion house, Melania kept the look monochromatic, pairing the two-set with a white silk shirt and subtle nude stilettos.
The pantsuit features a wide-leg trousers and a single-breasted blazer, to which the First Lady wore the blazer unbutton. Keeping the look simple yet stylish, Melania paired the suit with a nude pink sweater by Ralph Lauren and a pair of pale pink Manolo Blahnik, which were on full display thanks to the cropped style of her wide-legged pants. The pumps retail for $695 at Bergdorf Goodman.

The President awarded former New York Yankees baseball pitcher, Mariano Rivera, whose athletic and philanthropic work was celebrated.

For 20 years, the five-time World Series champ’s Mariano Rivera Foundation has provided educational and support services to youths from impoverished families.
“Nearly two decades ago, Mariano founded the Mariano Rivera Foundation, which has provided hundreds of scholarships for underprivileged children, along with school supplies for countless students, and is currently building a learning and community center in New Rochelle, New York — where, I can tell you, from being in New York, what you’ve done in New Rochelle has been incredible,” President Trump said. “Mariano Rivera has made extraordinary contributions to American sports, culture, and society. He is the most dominant relief pitcher in the history of baseball. And more than that, he has lived the American Dream and shines as an example of American greatness for all to see.”
