First Lady Melania Trump on the fourth and final night of the Republican National Convention joined President Trump as he delivered his acceptance speech from the South Lawn of the White House.
Always an attraction due to her impeccable looks, Melania donned a neon green gown by Valentino. From the designer Spring/Summer 2020 collection, the bold and bright green sleeveless pleated caped gown features a high boat neckline, flowy long length pleats, a fitted waist, and a concealed rear zip fastening. It’s made from crepe with a fitted bodice and an A-line skirt, followed by the centerpiece caped shoulders for a statement finish. It retails for $5,500 and is available at Farfetch.com.

She teamed the neon pleated Valentino gown with a fuchsia belt and matching pumps from Christian Louboutin. The fuchsia suede So Kate pumps, a favorite for the First Lady. The pumps retail for about $695, but it is currently sold out.

Valentino is a favorite for Melania as she normally wears this label for very important occasions. Last December, for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Leaders’ Reception, Melania donned a glamorous yellow cape coat from Valentino. The reception hosted by Queen Elizabeth II was in honor of NATO’s 70th anniversary.
The following evening for Vice Pence acceptance speech, Melania wore a high neck pink sleeveless midi dress from Jason Wu. On the second night of the RNC, the night she gave her highly anticipated speech, the First Lady donned a military-style olive jacket with the matching pencil skirt from Alexander McQueen.

After taking the podium, Trump began his remarks honoring Melania. The First Lady’s parents Amalia and Viktor Knavs also attended and were seated in the row behind her, and rose with the rest of the crowd in applause.

The final night of the 4-day RNC was truly a family affair. Melania was joined by their son Barron, as well as President Trump’s four children and significant others, Donald Jr., Eric, Ivanka, Tiffany. All four older children gave their own remarks making the case to the nation to reelect their father for a second term.
The president was introduced by Ivanka who gave a personal insights into her father’s personality and decision making.
“I recognize that my father’s communication style is not to everyone’s taste. And I know his Tweets can feel a bit … unfiltered, but the results speak for themselves,” Ivanka said. “Donald Trump did not come to Washington to win praise from the beltway elites. Donald Trump came to Washington for one reason, and one reason alone: To Make America Great Again!”
Closing out the Republican Convention was a massive display of beautiful fireworks that lit up the sky over the Washington Monument, with two of the fireworks spelling out “Trump 2020” as well as a performance by opera singer Christopher Macchio. The display lasted almost six minutes giving the convention a powerful closing image.

August 28, 2020I was shocked to see on other rival TV channels on how spiteful some people could be by deliberately changing the Valentino gown digitally into backgrounds for abusive messages that Melania was wearing. Why on earth would they stoop that low to discredit the First Lady? She would be shocked if she knew. I had to look away.
