Senior White House adviser Ivanka Trump headed to Sidi Kacem, a region north of Rabat on Thursday to tour an olive grove collective owned by four female farmers.
For the tour, Ivanka wore a white with black embroidered tunic jacket by Marrakesh designer Fadila El Gadi. The price and availability to purchase this jacket is not shown on the designer website.
She paired the black-and-white jacket over a black turtleneck and black skinny tailored pants. As for footwear, Ivanka completed the look with a pair of black Rothy’s flat. The flat retails for $155 and is available for purchase at Rothys.com.
Today I am traveling to the rural Gharb region of Morocco to meet with women beneficiaries that will be impacted by implementation of recent land titling reforms.

Women’s ability to own + manage property is critical to gender equality and economic empowerment. #WGDP

Ivanka, was joined on the tour by her trip companion Sean Cairncross, the CEO of Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), an independent US foreign aid agency that provides grants to developing countries to help promote economic growth, reduce poverty and strengthen institutions. The olive grove is a project of MCC.
The first daughter was warmly embraced and kissed by local olive farmer Aicha Bourkib as she arrived at the olive grove. Bourkib couldn’t hold back her emotion as she met Ivanka, whom she gave a warm hug. The pair then held hands as Ivanka and Cairncross were led around the groves, with a guide explaining the work that the women do. Bourkib and her fellow farmers have turned the land into a profitable business to help support themselves and their families. Their lives have been transformed thanks to ongoing legal changes that enables women to own or inherit land.

After their tour, the pair met with a larger group of female farmers, with Ivanka addressing the women during a special ceremony, speaking to them about her female-focused empowerment initiatives, and learning how their lives have been and will continue to be changed by gaining the ability to buy, own, and inherit land.
“When you invest in women, they invest back into their families and communities and countries flourish,” Ivanka said. “Women’s ability to own and manage property is critical to gender equality and economic empowerment.”

Later in the afternoon, Ivanka alongside Cairncross is schedule to meet with Prime Minister Saadeddine el-Othmani and Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita.
