Senior Advisor to the President Ivanka Trump, alongside husband Jared Kushner accompanied President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump on their two-day state visit to India.
Greeting the first couple at Sardar Vakkabhbhai Patel International Airport, Ivanka wore a floral print short sleeve dress from Proenza Schouler. She first wore this dress last September in Argentina for her three-country South American tour to promote Women’s Global Development and Prosperity Initiative (W-GDP) she launched in early 2019.
The short sleeve midi dress has a distinctive splatter baby blue and red floral print detail all across the lightweight viscose georgette. It features a plunging v-neck line with hanging self tie detail, puffed rounded short sleeves and a flattering ruching at the waistline. It retailed for $1,690, but it is now on sale for $507 at Farfetch.com.
She paired the splatter floral print dress with red suede pumps.

After greeting her father at the arrival ceremony, Ivanka headed to the Sardar Patel Stadium for the ’Namaste Trump’ Rally. The 110,000 stadium was filled to capacity for the rally. Sitting front row for the rally, Ivanka was seen proudly clapping as both President Trump and India Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave remarks.
To cap off their first day in India, both Ivanka and Jared joined alongside the president and First Lady in visiting the Taj Mahal in Agra Monday evening. The couple posed in front of the famous monument shortly after her father and step-mother finishing taking pictures and went on to tour the tomb.
“The grandeur and beauty of the Taj Mahal is awe inspiring!” Ivanka wrote on Twitter, including a solo photo of herself in front of the tomb. On Instagram, Ivanka shared several photos of her and Jared, including a picture of the couple sitting on the famous ‘Diana’ bench where the Princess of Wales in 1992 took the iconic image during her visit.
Before her arrival in India, Ivanka on Twitter posted her excitement of returning to India, sharing photos from her last visit to the country two years ago, when she attended the Global Entrepreneurial Summit in Hyderabad, alongside Prime Minister Modi.
Two years after joining @narendramodi at the Global Entrepreneurial Summit in Hyderabad, I am honored to return to India with @POTUS and @FLOTUS to celebrate that the grand friendship between the world’s two largest democracies has never been stronger! 🇺🇸 🇮🇳 pic.twitter.com/r1d5fl9mtq— Ivanka Trump (@IvankaTrump) February 23, 2020
