Landed in Rabat, Morocco Wednesday morning after a long overnight flight from Washington, D.C., Senior White House adviser Ivanka Trump received warm reception from Princess Lalla Meryem.
Arriving in royal fashion, Ivanka wore a gray embroidered suit tunic jacket by Marrakesh designer Fadila El Gadi. The jacket featured the country’s traditional tribal designs. The price and availability to purchase this jacket is not shown on the designer website.
White House Specialty Media Director, Carolina Hurley tweeted the designer of Ivanka’s grey suit jacket, writing that the designer “runs an institute in Morocco that teaches underprivileged children the art of embroidery.”

She coordinated the grey embroidered suit jacket with matching grey skinny leg pants and grey pumps from her former fashion brand, Ivanka Trump. This exact color is not available for purchase, but a few neutral colors are still available at Amazon.com for about $85.
As for Princess Meryem, she also was seen wearing a pant suit in a vibrant orange. She paired the suit with a bright red satin tie neck top and a pair of patent leather black pumps.

Upon their arrival, both Ivanka and Princess Meryem were presented with milk and dates, a tradition served as a welcome snack that is often offered at celebratory events. After, the ladies sat down together and enjoyed a cup of tea together and talked for several minutes about Ivanka’s global women’s empowerment program, the Women’s Global Development and Prosperity Initiative, which she will be promoting throughout her visit to the country.
Ivanka will be accompanied in Morocco by Sean Cairncross, CEO of the Millennium Challenge Corp., an independent U.S. foreign aid agency that is working with the Moroccan government to promote economic growth, reduce poverty and strengthen institutions. Together, both will be attending meetings with Moroccan government officials and senior woman business leaders during their three-day visit.

The visit to Morocco is the third overseas trip that Ivanka has taken this year to promote the Women’s Global Development and Prosperity Initiative, which was launched in February to benefit women in developing countries.
On Thursday, Ivanka is scheduled to visit an olive grove with Cairncross and a group of female farmers in the province of Sidi Kacem.
