What Ivanka Wore Attending Doha Forum

Senior Advisor Ivanka Trump attended an international conference in Qatar, alongside Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin on Saturday.

Looking business-chic for the forum, Ivanka wore a black and pink two-tone blazer from Alexander McQueen. The two-tone, light pink on top, black bottom wool-blend blazer is a slim fit that features padded shoulders and a nipped-in waist. It retailed for $2,640 but it is on sale for $1,056 at Net-A-Porter.com.

She paired the two-tone Alexander McQueen blazer with an all-black ensemble, consisting of a button-up shirt and a pair of flared-leg pants.

Ivanka is in the Middle East over the weekend to partake at the Doha Forum in the Qatari capital. According to the U.S. Treasury statement, Ivanka is participating in this year forum to “meet with government and business leaders regarding key economic objectives.”

At the forum, Ivanka discussed her Women’s Global Development Prosperity Initiative project, which has created a fund to pay for public-private efforts that seek to empower 50 million women globally by 2025.

“Here in Qatar, we see a great example of entrepreneurship,” Ivanka said at the Doha Forum. “All too often development assistance becomes more of an entitlement, and recipient countries don’t transition to self-reliance and ultimately to trading partners. We believe one of the core reasons why that transition doesn’t happen is because women are oftentimes grossly underutilized in these societies.”

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., also participated in the session, which brings together policymakers from around the world to discuss a diverse range of global issues. In its 19th year, this year’s Doha Forum theme was called “Reimagining Governance in a Multipolar World.”

Ivanka Trump met with several top-level politicians and business leaders, including Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani.

This is Ivanka’s first trip back to Middle East in two years. She last visited Saudi Arabia in 2017 with her father Donald Trump on his first trip abroad as president.
