Senior Advisor to the President Ivanka Trump attended the Global Women’s Forum gala dinner Sunday evening, after delivering the keynote address at the two-day event held in Dubai.
For the gala, Ivanka opted for a pastel ensemble, wearing cotton candy-colored chiffon cape dress by Dubai based label, Bouguessa. The cape pleated midi dress features a sun pleated chiffon fabric, cape detail at sleeves, dome button front and an adjustable string belt on the waist line. It retailed for $1,315, but unfortunately it is sadly sold out.
Removing the adjustable string belt, Ivanka made the Bouguessa dress stand out by opting for a gold belt for a metallic glam pop. She paired the cape dress with gold pumps. It is unknown which exact brand the shining gold pointed-toe heels are from.

If you want to emulate Ivanka’s look, below are less expensive versions cape dress alternatives.

Ivanka shared images of the gala dinner held at the Al Shindagha Historic Neighbourhood on her social media account early Monday morning.

Earlier, the senior advisor gave a keynote speech at the women’s forum, touting the progress of women in the United States and congratulated Saudi Arabia for recent changes in the law that allow women to travel abroad as well as obtaining a passport without the permission of a male.
She also highlighted her initiative, the Women’s Global Development and Prosperity and how it has “impacted more than 12 million women” in the developing world in its first year alone, adding it’s “ambitious goal” is to reach at least 50 million women by 2025.
“But in our first year, we have already impacted more than 12 million women,” Ivanka said. “We are here together to ask nations in this region to continue to work with us to break new grounds, to institute changes legally and culturally and give every woman a chance to determine her own destiny and bring greater peace and prosperity to this region and to the world.”
During her two-day visit to the UAE, Trump met with women entrepreneurs and discussed a U.S. government project she’s leading that’s aimed at helping women in developing countries. The Women’s Global Development and Prosperity Initiative was launched last year with backing by her father.
On Saturday, she toured Abu Dhabi’s grand mosque, visited Abu Dhabi’s branch of the Louvre Museum, and met privately with the country’s day-to-day ruler, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed.
The theme of the forum in Dubai was The Power of Influence.
