On the eve of the Republican National Convention, the Trump campaign released a 49-point “core priorities” for President Trump’s second term.

The core priorities have 10 priorities agenda with each bullet point breaking down with a broad policy objective that Trump plans to focus heavily on in his second-term if re-elected. Under the first headline, “Jobs” includes the creation of “10 million new jobs in 10 months” and “1 million new small businesses” as well as tax cuts to boost “take-home pay and keep jobs in America.” It also calls for tax credits for “Made in America” products, expanding Opportunity Zones, and continue energy independence through a “deregulatory agenda.”

On “Eradicate COVID-19”, the outline calls for the development of a coronavirus “vaccine by the end of 2020”, a “return to normal in 2021” and replenishing all emergency stockpiles for future pandemics.

Regarding China, an issue the GOP convention is expected to focus heavily on, the headline, “End Our Reliance On China” includes bringing back over a “million manufacturing jobs from China” with “tax credit” given to companies that brings back jobs from China, and giving “100 percent expensing deductions to Pharmaceuticals and Robotics” who bring their manufacturing to the United States. It also will ban “federal contracts for companies who outsource to China,” and will “hold China fully accountable” for its role in allowing the virus to spread around the world.”

The president’s second-term agenda includes draining the swamp, defending our police officers, including increased fully fund and hire more police officers and increase criminal penalties for assaults on police officers, end illegal immigration and protect American workers by ending sanctuary cities and blocking illegal immigrants from becoming eligible for taxpayer-funded assistance such as welfare, healthcare, and college tuition. It also calls for America’s launch of Space Force to mark the nation’s “permanent manned presence on the moon” and “send the first manned mission to Mars,” as well continue “America First” foreign policy.

“Building on the incredible achievements of President Donald J. Trump’s first term in office, the President’s re-election campaign has released a set of core priorities for a second term under the banner of ‘Fighting for You!’” the campaign said in a statement. “President Trump’s boundless optimism and certainty in America’s greatness is reflected in his second-term goals and stands in stark contrast to the gloomy vision of America projected by Joe Biden and Democrats.”

“President Trump will further illuminate these plans during his acceptance speech Thursday at the Republican National Convention,” the campaign added. “Over the coming weeks, the President will be sharing additional details about his plans through policy-focused speeches on the campaign trail.”
