First Lady Melania Trump announced Friday that the White House will welcome “ghosts, fairies, superheroes, tiny goblins” and other costumed visitors on Sunday for its fourth annual Halloween festivities, but this year annual celebration will take place under COVID-19 restrictions including social distancing and face masks for all guests over the age of 2 will be required.
Senior White House adviser Ivanka Trump celebrated Halloween with her husband Jared Kushner and three children in her neighborhood, giving out candy to local trick-or-treaters. Not dressed in costume, Ivanka donned a polished beige trench coat from Khaite. The cotton trench coat features buckled cuffs, waist-cinching belt with its signature tortoiseshell hardware and a storm flap. It retailed for $1,183 but unfortunately its sold out. She teamed the beige trench coat with a black crewneck sweater, blue jeans and a pair of dark green ivy Rothy’s flat. The flat retails for $155 and is available for purchase at Rothys.com.
