The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) announced in a statement Monday evening that President Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden will have their microphones cut off during portions of the final presidential debate, while each candidate will be given two minutes of uninterrupted time at the beginning of each debate segment.
President Trump told Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo Thursday morning that he not going to “waste my time” in participating in the upcoming second presidential debate now that it is set to become a virtual event.
Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is already looking to call off the second debate, saying if President Trump “still has COVID-19” come next week the two candidates shouldn’t face-off in Miami.
