The 90s are making a comeback in fashion and thank god it did!
Skorts, the short and skirt hybrid, or what is really known as the business in front, party in the back style. I am obsessed with Skorts. It’s a fashion hit. I remember wearing this type of style when I was a young cub in elementary school and I am so glad this specific style return to my adulthood.
This is the one piece that I have received the most complimented by strangers in just one day. I wore this skort at work, pairing it with a white blazer to give it a chic office look. After work, when it came time to head to a fashion show, I stripped the blazer to show the sleeveless halter top that compliments the whole outfit.
There are so many different styles of skorts, but my favorite that I have bought in so many colors and prints from both Express and Zara are the Asymmetrical Skort. This style is very sophisticated with a glam edgy look. It comes with side pockets that makes it feel like it is shorts, even though it’s only half shorts. A skort is very versatile to wear and is so easy to dress it up all while still being comfortable.
Skorts can be worn in so many different fun ways — with a classy tucked-in blouse, a crop top, or even with a sweater for the fall time (a look I can’t wait to wear!) To give your look an extra chicness, pair the skort and top with heels. This will make your skort outfit look its very best.
