President Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and senior White House staff observed a moment of silence at 8:46 a.m. ET to commemorate the moment the first plane hit the World Trade Center in a conference room aboard Air Force One en route to Pennsylvania.

To mark the time the first plane hit the north tower of the World Trade Center, Trump, the First lady, Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, and Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino stood around a table with heads bowed in the staff cabin of Air Force One.
“God bless America,” Meadows said at the conclusion of the moment of silence, according to the press pool traveling with the President.
Trump followed after also saying, “God bless America.”
Earlier, Trump tweeted an anniversary post commemorate 19 years of September 11, 2001.
