Entitled “Muse,” Marcel Ostertag Spring/Summer 2019 collection is a tactile and colorful journey influenced deeply by the close relationships with the muses in his life.
The gorgeous collection was filled with sequins, tassels and ruffles in the palettes mostly consisting of lilac, coral, sunshine yellow, pink, and baby blue. The 50 pieces shown in Spring Studio was inspired from fashion statement pieces of the 70s from high-waisted pants, to bell sleeve tops, ruffles, and wrap dresses. Highlights pieces were fringe boots and pants, ruffle pants, and rainbow jackets, sweater, and dresses.
As for the men’s collection, there were an assortment of two-piece outfit in silk, cashmere and beaded pants material as well as color blocked oversized hoodies, pullovers and trench coats.
The entire collection is was designed and produced in Germany with the materials used from Italy.
