Ivanka Trump Headlines ‘Make America Great Again’ Rally In Sarasota

White House Senior Advisor Ivanka Trump returned to Florida Tuesday to headline two “Make America Great Again” rally in Sarasota and Miami, her second trip to the Sunshine State this month with just a week left to go before Election Day.

“Donald J. Trump came to Washington for one reason and one reason alone, to Make America Great Again,” Ivanka said at Nathan Benderson Park Tuesday afternoon. “Unlike politicians, when my father makes a promise, he keeps it.”

“In less than four years, President Trump has rebuilt the United States military, secured our borders, defeated the Isis caliphate, fostered peace in the Middle East, delivered historic tax and regulatory cuts, fixed our broken trade deals and brought jobs back to America and back to Florida,” Ivanka added. “Donald Trump has done more for Florida in 47 months than Joe Biden did in 47 years.”

During her 30-minute remark, Ivanka touted her father’s accomplishments, including economic growth, the recent Middle East peace deal that consists of U.S. brokered deals of diplomatic pacts between Israel and three Arab nations, and programs involve cutting prescriptions drug cost.

Regarding the issue of the coronavirus, Ivanka promised that the Trump administration’s “Operation Warp Speed” would produce a successful vaccine by the end of the year.

“He will defeat the virus, bring back your jobs and end this pandemic once and for all,” Ivanka stated.

She touched on the subject of school choice, comparing the president’s stance to his Democratic presidential rival Joe Biden stance. She noted that Trump supports expanding school choice, while the former vice president opposes school choices and pledges to eliminate charter schools.

“President Trump wants to give every child the very best,” Ivanka said. “The best chance to pursue their dreams, find their purpose, and change the world.”

“We as a society have a duty to ensure that every child has the best chance to pursue their dreams, find their purpose, and change the world,” she added. “Joe Biden opposes school choice. And he’s pledged that if elected, charter schools will be, and I quote, ‘gone.’”

After the Sarasota rally, Ivanka visited SLAM charter school opened by rapper Pitbull in Little Havana. The first group of students Ivanka met at SLAM Academy were part of the school’s Tech Team, a program where students help other students with technical support. The group showed Ivanka a glass sphere programmed to move by using a cellphone or tablet.

She also met with SLAM’s nationally recognized dance team, The Sirens where the dancers performed a hip-hop dance routine.

“Oh, my gosh, you guys are amazing,” Ivanka said after the performance. “I am exhausted just watching you.”

Following the charter school visit, Ivanka headed to Miami’s famous Versailles Cuban restaurant for the time-honored tradition of a campaign-stop Cafecito and met with Versailles owner, Felipe Valls Jr.

“We decided to stop and get some coffee and pastries for the plane,” Ivanka said. “I hear Cafecito is the best.”

Before leaving the cafe to her final MAGA rally in Bayfront Park Amphitheater in downtown Miami, Ivanka told customers that the president had a message she was told to tell Floridians.

“The President feels the love as well. I was just talking to him, he’s on Air Force One right now, and he said, ‘Florida, get out and vote!’ He said, ‘Tell them they’ve gotta vote! Tell them they’ve gotta vote!’ and ‘Tell them I love them!’” she said.

Customers began chanting, “Four more years!”

The Trump family is in full force campaigning for the president re-election bid, especially in battleground Florida. The Sunshine State with 29 electoral votes is considered a must-win for Trump who won the state in 2016 with over 113,000 votes. According to the Florida Division of Elections, as of Tuesday evening, more than 6.4 million Floridians have voted with Florida Democrats casting almost 300,000 more ballots than Republicans, mostly through mail-in ballot voting.

According to Real Clear Politics Florida poll average, Trump is slight ahead by half a point margin having 48.2% of the vote to Biden 47.7%

On Wednesday, Donald Trump Jr. will hold MAGA rallies in Jacksonville, Daytona Beach, and Vero Beach.

Biden will also be making a stop at the Sunshine State with a visit to Broward County and Tampa on Thursday. President Trump will also host his huge MAGA rally at a stop at Miami-Dade County.
