Golden Globes 2019 Best Dressed

The 76th annual Golden Globes descended upon the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday, January 6 and as usual the stars dressed to the nines for the first major award of the year. Last year, black made a statement on the Golden Globes red carpet, but this year colors reappeared in a memorable way.

From deep V-neck gowns, high thigh slit, to gleaming sequins and sparkles and other sexy ensembles, we saw a lot of beautiful gowns. However, only a few really stood out from the crowd. So who were the best dressed of the night? Keep reading for details!

Halle Berry was by far my favorite gown seen in the red carpet. She wore plunging maroon long-sleeve gown by Zuhair Murad that featured a plunging neckline and a thigh-high split with an asymmetrical detail. Her long sheath gown was layered with Chantilly lace and velvet inserts. Halle accessorized this stunning gown with Roberto Coin jewels and Loriblu shoes.
Kristin Cavallari looked like a star in a gown by designer Amen. The jaw dropping long sleeve embellished gown featured a high neckline and a sheer plunging detail. When she turned, the gown revealed an alluring open back. To accessorize this sexy dress, Kristen wore pink stone earrings from Chopard jewelry.
Gemma Chan showed that shorts can be worn on the red carpet. She wore a deep teal halter neck dress from Valentino Couture that featured an open waist to reveal a pair of thigh-length shorts underneath. Gemma paired this gorgeous gown with matching Christian Louboutin velvet pumps.Gemma Chan showed that shorts can be worn on the red carpet.
