First Lady Melania Trump channels in her Jackie O for her arrival in Paris.
The stunning grand entrance made a stylish statement as Melania was seen wearing red from head-to-toe. This look almost reminiscent another fashionable former first lady, Jackie Kennedy.
Wearing her hair in an elegant updo, the First lady wore a cardinal red suit bar jacket and A-line skirt set from Christian Dior. To pair up the modern day Dior suit, Melania wore suede red pumps, giving the look a monochromatic look.
According to Melania’s stylist, Herve Pierre, the outfit was picked out to celebrate Dior 70th anniversary and the “Christian Dior: Couturier du Reve.”
“Dior is attached to France forever,” Pierre said to WWD. “It is a name that is part of the vocabulary.”
The stylish look is seen to resemble Dior’s famous “New Look,” a style invented by the fashion house after WWII.
Joining her husband on the two-day visit to Paris, Melania joined French President Emmanuel Macron’s wife, Brigitte, another fashionable first lady. The Trumps are in France at the Macron’s invitation to celebrate Bastille Day.
